Write Me a Crafted Prayer

At our recent virtual conference, Graham Cooke reminded us of the importance of developing crafted prayers for these moments we are experiencing. These prayers are important in the direction we are going in ministry, health, finances, and relationships. Just last week at my desk here at HQ, the Lord reminded me about these crafted prayers. What have we done with the message He gave us at conference...a question I'm sure we all ask. Because our resourcing is not coming TO us...we are growing TO it...crafted prayers are critical in taking what the Lord has said, releasing it daily into the atmosphere of life, and add our strong faith that what He said He will do, HE WILL DO IT!

I woke up this morning with a part of a song from Godfrey Birtill ringing over and over in my mind. Even on the way to work it was so strong I mentioned it to Nancy as we prayed. The part of the song resonating was ...Hear the Word of the Lord...Godfrey would insert different countries before this sentence and repeat it...America, Hear the Word of the Lord! And so on.

I have not recently heard this song, so it was not necessarily on my mind. Yet God reminded me to pay attention and Hear the Word of the Lord. Immediately, I was taken back to this crafted prayer I wrote last week. God was saying, "Pray this to Me over and over again...not so that I hear it...but that you will hear it and know that I am God and partner with Me." When I read it out loud again, something shifted in me, enough so that I felt I needed to write this email to us. God is reminding us that we are growing into our resources...not just financial, although it certainly includes finances. But family, prodigals, health, strategy, revelation, breakthrough in unanswered or delayed prayer, needed encouragement, and so many other things are under the heading of: WRITE ME A CRAFTED PRAYER DECLARING WHAT I HAVE SAID OVER THE SITUATION.

I don't mean to belabor the point, but it's got a hold of me and I felt to release this to you. Men of Issachar, to all of Aglow...it's time to link shields and declare this attached prayer. Aglow, we are praying this prayer over you and your regions of ministry. This crafted prayer opens the door for more crafted prayers to be written and declared. If you have experienced delay in what God has already said over you, declare it again! Prophesy again (Rev 10:11)! I hope this is an encouragement and spurs an excitement and activation in our prayer agreement.

Lastly, I was contacted by a State Prayer Coordinator yesterday out of the blue, who said as she was praying, the Lord spoke a word over me. She said it was such a sovereign moment and she couldn't stop weeping. She said the Lord told her, "Tell Dave I AM going to do it!" "IT" refers to unanswered prayer and breakthrough for you, me, Aglow International, and the vision over the nations. God said I AM going to do it... what you have declared, I will do it! I feel God's presence all over this. I declare the moments of delay and discouragement over you and the situations that are wearing you out, that God said it is time! I AM going to do it! I AM going to turn it all around! I AM going to crush the spirit of delay and hope deferred, and it will never take root again." You said it, Lord. That's all I need. Isaiah 45:2, 3.

Crafted Prayer for our finances, unanswered prayer, and lingering promises

Father, we honor You and give You all the glory for all You have done. You are the director of our future. All things are done perfectly and with utmost thought for maximum results. You have been so faithful to speak to us the promises of Heaven over Aglow International. We know we have stepped over the threshold into the New Era, and crafted prayers back to You reveal our hearts to grow into Your provision. Just as You sounded the announcement in the Spirit that Jesus’ time had come as You performed Your first major miracle of turning water into wine, You used a situation of lack, of desperation, of divine timing to announce, “The Great I Am is here, and the new era of miracles has begun.” This announcement has never rang more loudly and profusely than now: The Great I Am is here, and the new era of miracles has begun. Aglow, your time of the miraculous has begun. You are on the clock.”

Just a few short weeks ago, You enlarged us with a prophetic blessing from Asher Intrater from Tikkun Ministries. He looked right at us and released Deuteronomy 23:5…” Nevertheless, the Lord your God was not willing to listen to Balaam, but the Lord your God turned the curse into a blessing for you because the Lord your God loved you.”

We began to immediately walk in the miraculous opportunities set before us…resources, assignments, and breakthrough opportunities. Just as we have done before, we walked through those doors You opened only to find delay and opportunities that seemed to fall through. The old season hope deferred began to creep back for a return visit, but we said “NO! The Lord said. We declare it. We decree it. And it is finished in the Spirit.” Thus, this crafted prayer this morning. Desperation drives us to fertile places of opportunity with You. This is one of those.

Father God, You are always faithful, always kind and loving, and always at work on our behalf. We ask You to teach us how to grow into these promises listed in the Spirit that are designed to free us from the chains and weight of debt and lack. There is no lack in You. There is no lack in us. We are family. We are heirs with You, and all the resources of Heaven are here to serve our assignments and future opportunities. We have stepped into our new era of financial freedom and blessing so that we can become an instrument of bread for the nations.

We do not list the needs of our current situation. You know them. They have become heavy and weighty, and they defy Your authority and identity in us. Just as the new era of miracles began for Joshua, for Jesus, and now for us, we call forth every resource into its timing. We declare all delay is lifted, as we commission the angelic hosts to eradicate the evil one and his plans over delay and hope deferred. We lift up a shout of victory! We declare the voice of triumph! Our promises in You are Yes and Amen to the Glory of God! Resources, healing, answered prayer, come forth NOW!

You declared in April, Lord, for us not to remember the former things because You are doing a NEW THING NOW! Make places and streams in the desolate areas and bring us into a new faith, expectancy, and authority that creates a new facelift for Aglow International to become and remain a House of Bread for the nations. NOW is the time, Lord! All detours, all delays, all desolations of the past, your days are over…NOW! It is time. You are in it, Lord! You are our source of resources. Let’s do this together, Papa. Resources, find your way now into our bank accounts to fund new works, new buildings, and new expansion in the nations. We decree the lid is blown off the temporary cap of delay and discouragement, and we lift our praises to You, All Sufficient One. For You are a NOW God on our behalf! We follow You, Lord. You alone, In Jesus' name! EVERYTHING bows the knee to the NAME. Amen. So be it unto us. In Jesus' Name.
